The COMISS Network Commission for Accreditation of Pastoral Services
The purpose of CCAPS (COMISS Commission for Accreditation of Chaplaincy Services) is establish Standards for, and to assess the quality of chaplaincy services provided to patients, clients, families, visitors, and employees within an organization. CCAPS accreditation of an organization’s spiritual care and chaplaincy services is a voluntary process of consultation and evaluation. Through this process, CCAPS examines the organization’s ability to meet the Standards.
